ONLINE ACCORDION COURSES

The foundation of sound, technique, and musicality

🎹 The Bellows – the Heart of Accordion Playing

The accordion is a truly unique instrument.
Its real sound does not begin with the fingers or the notes —
it begins with the bellows.

This course is the first online course in Poland that explains, in a practical, structured, and accessible way, how to work consciously with the bellows and how bellows control influences sound, dynamics, and musicality in accordion playing.

🎶 Who is this course for?
This course is for you if:

you play the accordion and feel that your sound could be better

you want greater control over dynamics and the instrument’s “breath”

you feel that the technique is there, but the music doesn’t always “flow”

you want to organize and strengthen your fundamentals, regardless of your level

you are looking for practical knowledge, not just theory from books

The course is suitable both for:

beginner accordionists

players with many years of experience who want to improve their foundations

🫁 What will you learn in this course?
In this course you will learn, among other things:

what the bellows really are and their role in playing

how to work with the bellows evenly and consciously

how to control the bellows’ breath without sound

how the bellows respond to different playing approaches

how to prepare the bellows for playing with chords

how to introduce accents and dynamics

how to move from “dry” exercises to playing with sound

how to avoid the most common technical mistakes

This is the foundation on which every style and every piece is built.

🎼 How do we work?
The course is conducted step by step, in a logical sequence:

Introduction and preparation for work

Principles of bellows operation

Philosophy of working with the instrument

Exercises on an empty bellows

Motion control and the limits of bellows movement

Bellows accentuation

Transition to exercises with sound

Summary and further guidance

The exercises are simple but highly effective — based on practice and experience.

🎵 Why is this course different?

it focuses on foundations rather than quick results

it explains things that are often never explained

it combines technique with musicality

it teaches you to listen to the instrument and to yourself

it provides a solid base for further development

🎵 COURSE 2: MASTER CHORDS AND PROPER BASS PLAYING

This course is the next natural step after working with the bellows.
We will focus on what is the biggest challenge for many accordionists:

👉 the left hand, bass playing, and chords in rhythm.

This is not about “clicking bass buttons,” but about conscious, musical rhythm control that carries the entire piece.

🎼 WHAT WILL THIS COURSE COVER?

At the very beginning, we will focus on proper bass playing in 4/4 time, starting from the absolute basics.

In this course, you will learn, among other things:

what proper bass playing really is and why many accordionists do it incorrectly

how to find the note C on the accordion and understand the bass layout

how to alternate bass playing: bass – chord – bass – chord

which finger to use for basses and which for chords to ensure smooth, confident playing

how to practice basic major chords in the key of C

how to build a stable rhythm without tension in the left hand

how to combine bass playing with the dynamics developed in Course 1

🎶 MINOR CHORDS AND FURTHER KEYS

Once you master the basics, we move on:

you will learn fundamental minor chords

we will start with the most important and commonly used patterns

step by step, I will show you how to practice the C – F – G chords

how to move smoothly between chords

how to make bass playing even, stable, and musical

    🕺 RHYTHM, CONFIDENCE, AND FREEDOM

In the next stages, we will focus on making sure that:

bass playing becomes natural and automatic

the left hand does not lose the rhythm

everything “locks in” with the right hand

the chords support the piece instead of getting in the way

    This is a course that:

organizes and stabilizes the left hand

    teaches rhythmic thinking

prepares you to play in different meters and styles

🔥 WHO IS THIS COURSE FOR?

This course is for you if:

you play, but your bass accompaniment doesn’t feel confident

you lose the rhythm or don’t know how to practice the left hand properly

you want to play cleanly, rhythmically, and musically

you want solid foundations for every piece
